Big story today& - Calais Campbell, DE, Miami will go pro and forego his senior year as a Hurricane. Great news for teams that need a DE, it would seem, unless this discourages Derrick jamaal charles DE, Florida, and Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU to leave early. Cambell has no chance of catching Chris Long, DE, Virginia, but he is clearly the #2 guy.
- Roy Schuening, G, Oregon State, will play in the Senior Bowl. Unless Duke Robinson, G, Oklahoma, comes out, Schuenings the #1 guard, easily.
- Jamaal Charles, RB, Texas and Jermichael Finley, TE, Texas have both sumbitted paperwork to the NFL DAB. Id be at least moderately surprised if either went.
- An ankle injury may keep Chase Coffman, TE, Missouri, from leaving school early. He probably shouldnt go, the TE is really strong this year.
- Sean Glennon, QB, Virginia Tech, will sumbit his paperwork to the NFL DAB. No chance he goes pro, but its always good to know where you stand.
- Quinten Groves, DE/OLB, Auburn, and Patrick Lee, DB, Auburn, will play in the Senior Bowl. Groves can really boost his draft stock with a solid showing.
