What is parkour ?
Parkour is an art to help you passing any obstacle to go from point A to point B only with the human body possibilities.
Understand that this art has been created by few soldiers in Vietnam to escape or reach: and this is the spirit I'd like parkour to keep. You have to make the difference between what is useful and what is not in emergency situations. Then You'll know what is parkour and what is not. So if you do acrobatics things on the street with no other goal than showing off, please don't say it's parkour. Acrobatics existed long time ago before parkour.

What Parkour is Not
Parkour is not acrobatics, tricking, stunts, recklessness, or jumping off high objects for no reason. It is also not "What you make of it" ... it is predefined and has a purpose, if something doesn't suit that purpose, it is not Parkour.
Parkour basic potezi
Saut - normal jump/To jump over an obstacle for example.
Saut De Fond - basic jump literally 'jump to the ground/jump to the floor'
to jump down , or drop down , from something usually ending with a roll
Roulade - roll after a jump , this technique aides landing by redistributing the force of the jump
Saut De Chat - jump of cat jump over obstacle while passing legs betwen arms
Saut De Bras - jump of arm with a run up or standing , you have to take the wall in front of you , with your hands , arms or elbows
Saut De Precision - jump of precision it's a difficult jump because you have to landing in a little and very precise point , you have to evaluate your jump precisely
Saut De Detente - spring jump it's an accuracy jump made with a good run up or standing to clear an obstacle and landing precisely
Saut Aveugle - Blind Jump
To not see the landing area when you jump off the ground.
Passe Muraille - wallclimb after a good run up you have to take off in the wall and jump
hight with this support , after that , when you are in the air , take an another support (with your hands , or foot... ) and clear the wall or the obstacle
Passement - vault move when u clear the obstacle
Demitour - turn vault used when the descent from a wall is too great to vault or jump down from.The turn vault allows you to buy some distance and if necessary, add some flair to an exit out of a move.
Tic Tac - when running , place a foot on the wall and use as a foothold to propel yourself over barriers and obstacles
Equilibre - balance all kind of balances (walking on the rail,wall,trees,your body is totaly reverse and you take a support on your hands)
Franchissement - underbar movement of flexibilty and fluidity.Jumping trought a gap , litterally break trough or under the obstacle.To jump,swing trough the gap betwen obstacles.
Planche - Muscle up/Climb up to get from a hanging position (wall,rail,branch,arm jump)
into a position where u 'stand on your arms' above the obstacle,this then allows for you to climb up onto the obstacle and continue
Lacher - you hanging from a (wall,branch,rail) then u let yourself from it,and catch on another object
