Did you just make it so the plow would fully angle without making cotact? Having it to long meant harder to turn around as well for me.

I think if I were doing this install, I would hook the plow ground with the battery ground on the fame or where ever it is located. Is there any serious difference between a truck plow and a tractor plow? The ground issue sounds most likely to me.

Easiest Plow to hook up - The heavy + should be connected to the battery through the solenoid for the motor. And that was with having to raise it up with a floor jack.

Nothing to do with the hydraulic lift. It's more about lining it up right. It's been my own fault a couple times when I didn't look too make sure the hooks were totally cleared. If you have level ground then there's a lot less problems. I'm always on uneven ground or a hill and that doesn't help. If you go boss, spend the extra money and get the dxt. Hands down favorite plow. I have two and about to buy two more this year. The longest it's ever taken me to hook one of our Boss mintue up is about 3 minutes. And that was with having to raise it up with fsher floor jack. We don't run plows on trucks while salting, and had to switch over to plow mode after spreaders were loaded. That throws hook height off just enough that it doesn't moint go on.

The longest it's ever taken me to hook one of our Boss plows up is about 3 minutes. Used to use a Meyers up until last year and what a difference. Check the lines and cylinders for leaks. First few pics had me worries thought boss plows just mounted to those two big downplates. Having it to long meant harder to turn around as well for me. Kinda odd for an industry where 100% reliability is essential.
