Vegetables
Yesterday I had such a need to prepare and eat vegetables.
So, I thought which colour would suit me... and decided on green and orange. Went to the shop and made it green/orange/white/pink. So, here it goes: 300gr broccoli, take the florets only 2 carrots (not too small), cut in stripes 6 white asparagus 60gr small shrimps cumin seeds coriander leaves (dry) red chilli pepper salt, pepper Steam vegetables for 10 minutes. Then, after they're nice and soft(ish), take them off the fire. Take a spoon of oil and fry shrimps for 1 minute. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and continue frying for another 2 minutes. Add vegetables and stir it all together. Sprinkle salt, pepper, chilli and coriander leaves, and cover for minutes on a very low heat. Mmm... spicy and delicious! And only 30 minutes to prepare (ex. peeling and cutting time, but again, I am slow in preparing my food). |
