CZD news

CZD appeared on the 23rd of September at the Punk congress in Kassel. On the 24th of September the members of the band participated at panel discussions on the punk phenomenon and visited the concerts of other groups. For more information see: http://www.punk2004.de. - see Media-Links for some further reviews

On the 4th of September the group CZD participated at the vegetarian meeting at Mostec. One should eat the animal friendly food. We support it!

We prepare the adaptation of selected music by Ljubljana legendary punk group Pankrti. We decided to go for the "Lublana je bulana" ("Lublana is sick") song.

On the 27th and 28th of Avgusta the traditional No Border Jam festival took place at Maribor Pekarna cultural centre. Our guitar player Boštjan Imenšek replaced the guitar player of the guest group Pain. The latter could not get out of his own country.

On the 20th of August Fojtl took care for the concert at the lake. The group Muškat Hamburg made their appearance, too! It was pouring - from the sky and into the stomac. A fabulous party! Besides the 1st May bonfire the concert at the lake might become a part of the history, too.

CZD performed on the 24th of July at the traditional Ex Yu Rock Festival in Travnik (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Bosnia offers several opportunities for gigs. The audiences are marvellous and the hosting organisators as well. We checked what was going on in Sarajevo - and we met the legendary SCH and other bands.
At the open air concert in Travniku participated around 5000 people. Other groups who presented their music were:

"Afion" Paradise Balkan Nu-Ethno from Zagreb
"Beware"- Nu-Metal from Travnik (B&H)
"Min Mašin"- HC Hip Hop from Bugojno (B&H)
"Oblik"- Rock 'n' Roll from Banjaluka (B&H)
"Vuneny"- Elektro Psych from Mostar (B&H)
"Dubioza Kolektiv"- Ragga 'n' Bass from Sarajevo / Zenica (B&H)

The emission Unplugged at Slovenia Radio Station Val 202, which you could have listened to in April, now you are able to turn repetitively at your home CD player. Next to the selected fifteen songs the CD with the title No Border Guerilla features the excerpts from moderator's, musicians' and guests' talking. Cirkovce tamburica instrumentalist did perfectly well in breaching the gap between ethno folklore music and punk rock music. The consequences of this cooperation will be producing echo.
