Michael Patrick Simon and Marc D. Weiner affirmed their partnership yesterday at the Doral Forrestal Conference Center and Spa in Princeton, N.J. Rabbi Claire M. Green led the commitment ceremony.
Mr. Simon (above, left) is 40 and is known as Patrick. He is a senior director at Princeton Consultants, an information technology and management consulting firm in Plainsboro, N.J. He received two bachelor's degrees, both summa cum laude, from Michigan State University, one in mathematics and the other in physics. He also has a master's degree in astrophysical sciences and plasma physics from Princeton.
Mr. Weiner, 45, is the project director of the Office of Population Research at Princeton. It oversees the Campus Life in America Student Survey, a Ford Foundation project in higher education. He is an author and an editor of "The Future of American Democratic Politics" (Rutgers University Press, 2003) and a doctoral candidate in political science at Rutgers. Mr. Weiner graduated from Syracuse and received a law degree from Widener University.
