Prekopavala sam nedavno po nekim prastarim stvarima. I ponovo otkrila Green on Red. 'Gas Food Lodging' album je moj trenutno apsolutni favorit. Chuck Prophet je primjer genijalnog muzicara. Bez pompe, marketinskih manipulacija: no gimmicks.
Jedan od kandidata za moju top 10 listu gostiju na mom idealnom dinner partyju.
"I always look forward to going out, showing off my band, and kicking my new songs around. I know I've probably said this many times, but I really do get my biggest charge from taking my songs down off the shelf where they've been sitting there smiling back at me, and pushing 'em out of the house and wiping those smiles off their faces. You've got to play those songs until they learn to entertain and take care of themselves. Once you do that, you can't help but be entertained yourself."
