Slept badly without the earplugs and witnessed all kinds of nocturnal events. The fullsome Indian beauty next door laughed throatily through most of the night. I think the guy who woke me up one morning singing Noel Coward was again with her. Windows open, oppressive heat. A thunderstorm is due any hour... I hope.
Petra's yelling like a clutch of banshees. Yesterday Lucia told me of her fury at the school's complaint about Petra's behavior. They'd put her on Ritalin. She's only four. And, as Lucia says, she's Italian! Her "protagonismo" is natural! Poor bimba.
