A kiss
Standing on a hill, watching at the horizon...
Wind in her hair, sun rays drawing a sparkle in her almond eyes...
Her dress, the color of blood, waving gently in the wind...
Stood a woman, a lady...
Her milky skin reflected the redness of the sky...
Her proud eyes found the image of a man by her side...
There was an amusing smile on her lips...
And she saw the gleam in his eyes as he regarded her...
He was smitten by her radiant beauty...
He just stood there, staring in her enchanthing eyes...
Like he was under some spell...
A spell that couldn't be broken...
Even if thousand demons were on his back...
He couldn't take his eyes of her...
His heart was beating, his breath shallow...
He never knew he could feel this way...
She saw the shyness in his eyes...
The innocence in his look...
And although she was shy herself, she came to him...
With gracefull steps, her beaming smile never leaving her face...
She lifted her slender arm to touch his face...
But stopped as he lowered his gaze to the ground...
She took his chin in her hand and gently lifted his head...
She gave him a warm, comforting smile...
And then she said to him not to be afraid...
That she was probably more nervous than himself...
That he need to relax, that she'll not bite him...
That produced a little smile on his face...
He looked in her eyes again...
Gently caressed her warm cheek with one hand...
And slowly came closer to her...
He was like a frightened boy facing a dragon...
She saw how hard it was for him...
How every inch closer he was more nervous and afraid...
Her heart was also beathing hard..
She knew what she must do, what he couldn't do...
She slowly put her soft, inviting lips on his...
And she put her hands on both his cheeks...
It lasted short for somebody watching...
But for them it was a millenium...
Their lips parted suddenly, and their eyes met again...
Ther was a sparkle in their eyes...
A kindled fire, a fire to be nurtured...
A growing fire, a fire that couldn't be undone...
