Makes no difference
I fade away
With each passing moment
I witness again
The menacing torment
The restless pain
Which gives me no comfort
Which gives me no gain
In the night or in the day
Always I see
That shade of gray
Neither good nor bad
Neither happy
Nor sad
Never easy, never free
Even when I live
I’m still not me
