67. Prvenstvo Europe u gou u pojedinačnoj konkurenciji

Natjecateljska kruna Europskog Go Kongresa je dobivanje europskog prvaka u gou za dolazeću sezonu. U vrijeme korone kongresa nije bilo, a za prvaka se borilo online, pa je broj prvenstava za dva veći od broja kongresa.
Sistem natjcanja za prvaka se mijenjao. U nekoliko poslijednjih godina 32 najuspješnija Europljana po rejtingu, uz svoj pristanak, igraju turnir za prvaka. Do uključujući petoga kola se igra do drugoga poraza. U šestom kolu ostaje osmorka, pa se nastavlja kup sistemom, tj. ispadanjem nakon poraza. U finalu ( 8. kolo ) se igraju susreti za prvaka i za 3. mjesto.

Pogledavši malo detaljnije popis svih dosasašnjih prvaka uvidio sam da je vo Andrii Kravets prvi Ukrajinac prvak Europe u gou.
Hrvatskih predstavnika nema u ovim završnicama. Radimo sa mladima, da se sa vremenom prikljućimo ovoj eliti; organizirano i pojedinačno. To je zahtjevan i izazovan rad; put rezultata i poštovanja.

U tom popisu nalazimo i dva puta predstavnika Jugoslavije u ona 'davna' vremena. To je Riječanin Zoran Mutabžija, koji je bio i višestruki državni prvak Hrvatske. Igra i ove godine na Turniru šestorke za izazivača prvaka Hrvatske. Taj turnir je ovaj vikened 23. i 24. rujna u Rudeškoj 148 u Zagrebu.
