“Be careful what kind of jewellery you receive as a gift, it may be very dangerous”

PREFACE

Being the first nurture of interesting historical readings with cultural theme, Dianna Diverno shows herself through interesting subspace-French monarchies. The character of the roman doesn’t change while going through subtle themes, there is only anticipation of strands of criminology and shaky feet of romance.
Romance is, in this part, a little bit deafened, as if it is on a second place, and the first place, this tame, is left for materialism, which was clear in those days.

Piece “Topaz in flint” grew from its predecessors, pieces: “Last second for Brasov”, as well as from monodrama that was immortalized on stage several times before audience.

Novel “Topaz in flint” occasionally in its lines breathes through mystic, as well as through artist’s freedom to project certain characters in segments they were already seen before, although it is all magic of imagination. Some elements show us a little extinct, gothic decor, but certain parts of piece have accented chords of some more tenuous, sentimental notes in it.

Palatine elements fulfil literal elements of this novel, and through carefully showed episodes, there is sentiment that the author, also known by her criminal readings, this time turns towards readers who are fans of sentimental, historical and pro-monarchy pieces. In deep desire to reward us with another novel with monarchy notes, it leaves us to recommend literal maestro- Dianna Diverno’s piece ''Topaz in flint'' to all fans of written words.
