Living your truth often means disappointing the expectations of others.
That’s okay. Let them come to expect someone different, someone transformed. Let them come to expect your fierce commitment to being real. Let them come to expect your inability to compromise yourself for the benefit of those who are more comfortable when you’re small. You don’t need to change yourself to meet the world’s expectations. The world will figure out a way to love you as you are. Or not. Either way, you’re free.
