They asked an old man what life lessons he would give to children? The old man smiled and replied:
To learn that I can never force him to love them.
That it is not what they possess that is most valuable, but who they are in their lives.
To learn how it is not good to compare yourself with others.
How rich is not the man who has the most, but the one who needs the least.
To learn that just a few seconds are enough to deeply hurt a loved one, and then it takes years to heal.
To understand that there are people who love them tenderly, but do not know how to say or show it.
To learn that money can buy a lot of things, but luck does not.
That two people can observe the same thing and see it differently.
To learn that a true friend is one who knows all your flaws and yet loves you.
