I beg you, love your old parents!
The trembling hands and gray hair of fathers and bent good mothers.
Wrinkles on the faces, veins on the hands, faded tired eyes.
I beg you, love your old parents!
Caress the gray heads, kiss the aged and wounded hands.
Hug your old parents. They struggled with you too.
Give them love from the heart, and support them in old age.
I beg you, love your old parents!
Do not separate them into small rooms, nor send them to nursing homes.
Listen to their cries, make their lives easier.
Have nice words and smiles on their faces to meet them.
So please, love your old parents!
They worked hard to make your life better. They gladly accepted you when God sent you to them. So please respect your grandparents! Once God calls them to eternal rest, an empty space will be left behind. And you will fill that empty space because you will grow old by then. And whatever you did to your parents, your children will reciprocate. That is why I warn you and ask in advance:
Love and respect your old parents!
