Wargaming Showed off World of Tanks AR

The prototype lets you see replays of World of Tanks PC battles on the table in front of you. Its a big step forward in mobile AR graphics, as it essentially blends together the real world with PC-quality graphics on the screen of an iPad. I saw a demo of the prototype at TwitchCon, where it was shown for the first time in the World of Tanks booth. Wargaming showed off World of Tanks AR Spectate at the TwitchCon event in San Jose, California. I saw a demo of the technology, which was cooked up by a special projects team in Wargamings Sydney, Minsk, and Austin studios.

World of Tanks: Mercenaries is adding giant fighting robots for a limited time. Starting Jan. 29, fans of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the classic free-to-play tank game will be able to pilot two big, stompy mechs into battle. Its all part of the new Core Breach mode, and will only be available until Feb. 4. At the start of the month, Wargaming.net promised the Italian tech tree would be added to their online vehicular combat title World of Tanks: Mercenaries. We've reached the end of the month and they've just made good on their promise, adding the tech tree this week following the release of the Tier VIII Premium Italian hero tank Ariete Progetto at the start of the month.

World of Tanks has been around for more than eight years and it managed to hit 1.1 million concurrent players in late 2013, when the game had over 75 million registered players. If you liked this short article and you would like to get even more information concerning Buy World of Tanks Gold kindly go to the internet site. However, its developers took a few wrong turns since then and many players decided to stop playing on a regular basis. Now, World of Tanks 1.3 is live and, sadly, it doesn't even try to touch some of the worst issues that have been killing this game's appeal for a long time.

The World of Tanks Collaboration DLC pack lets you immerse yourself in the world of Left Alive by seeing adverts for another game by another developer plastered all over the map and characters. Streamers were invited to take mixed reality selfies and engage with the content as part of their streams. It was a pretty cool way to expose streamers and fans to World of Tanks gameplay.

World of Tanks developer Wargaming first announced a console version of the classic free-to-play PC game in 2013. It properly launched on the Xbox 360 in 2015 and was later ported over to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Last summer, Wargaming rebranded the entire console side of the house to World of Tanks: Mercenaries. That move added a new faction to the game, one that could draw from exotic machines from multiple nations. Mercenaries now features more story-driven content than ever before, alongside more traditional multiplayer fare. Players will begin with the Tier I Light Tank, the Fiat 3000, before using XP and silver to work their way through the additional tiers of the Italian tech tree.
