Fate/Grand Order falls into the popular “Gacha” style of games that is all the rage in Japan, and has more recently gained popularity in the West. Players collect in-game currency and randomly roll to get either characters or equipment cards to further augment their team, with all of these items having varying rarity. However, unlike previous Gatcha titles, Fate/Grand Order's player base famously touts that it's not a “Pay-to-Win” title— something I have surprisingly discovered is entirely true, making the game absolutely worth your time.
The game is labeled as an RPG, but it’s essentially an RPG in the way Final Fantasy Record Keeper or Mobius Final Fantasy are RPGs—i.e., lots and lots of combat. However, unlike the previously mentioned games, Fate/Grand Order is based on a property that started out as a visual novel, so there is a strong emphasis on story and plot development. In between battles, there are event scenes that can range in length from brief quips between characters to lengthy conversations with massive amounts of text. The game is also currently only available in Japanese so unless you understand enough to be able to navigate a fully Japanese visual novel, you may be in for an uphill battle.
If you are starting your own account, you will get a free 10-pull from the gacha. This gacha doesn’t include SSR servants, but gives you one guaranteed SR servant from its pool. If you want the absolute best servant to start out with, I will suggest rerolling for Heracles (Berserker). He will let you steamroll a good part of the early story missions and make your life easier in grinding overall. Berserkers are strong against all classes (although 1.5x damage instead of 2x) but are weak against them as well. Heracles is recommended due to having an exceptional attack stat for a 4* and survivability as well (Dodge skill and Guts skill on higher levels).Feel free to settle on any servant that strikes your fancy as one of the main points of this game is using the servants you like.
Craft Essences are the “equipment” players put in-game. Depending on the kind of craft essence a player equips, they can also change the role of the servant in battle. Some craft essences focus on increasing the performance of a servant’s command cards, others would focus on the post-game rewards. Some craft essences also have special effects during events which make them highly sought after especially when trying to rush through an event. After equipping a craft essence, players will then see variations of performance in battles depending on what craft essence they have.
One of the best tip that the Fate/Grand Order will give to you, is explaining the over kill as an important tip, which is a bonus for attacking enemies with zero HP, addition NP and critical stars can be obtained.Remember that five cards are randomly distributed each turn; cards selected later will have bonus effects, and always try to access the Fate/Grand Order cheats to get the quartzes needed. Finally, to enjoy all the features in the game, players can Buy FGO Saint Quartz from Mmocs at a reasonable price.
