An unusual teaser in Ubisofts loot shooter The Division 2, highlighted weeks after the games release, reveals that the next Assassins Creed game is all about Vikings. The Division 2 launched on March 15, but it wasn't until this week that discussion about a possible teaser located within the Potomac Event Center in the games version of Washington DC started generating buzz. As first made public by YouTuber JorRaptor, there are numerous posters all over this event center, picturing what appears to be a Norse god or traveler adorned with the word Valhalla.
According to Kotaku, the Viking Assassin's Creed seemingly teased in this Easter egg is legitimate. Kotaku says it heard from "two independent sources familiar with the game" that the Assassin's Creed entry coming in 2020 will indeed be set in Viking times. It's still unconfirmed, mind, but the bread crumbs are piling up. Break out your specially preserved rumor salt, because this one's as curious as it is tenuous. As for today's patch, the biggest included change is a fix for the scaling problem in co-op. Massive previously adjusted the damage low-level players received when joining a game with a high-level player, and today's update improves this further by adjusting health scaling. The patch has also lessened the flickering, and distortion effects when opening menus. Any remaining problems related to the bugged skill cooldowns should now also be fixed, though most of these were addressed last week. Today's update is relatively important, bringing a few quick fixes for issues reported since launch. Next weeks update will be the first to add new content, such as the Tidal Basin, and World Tier 5.
