The newest update for Anthem also makes several quality of life fixes

The launch of Anthem, the latest offering from BioWare and EA, has been anything but smooth. Players have complained that the game is riddled with bugs and is crashing their consoles. Anthem thankfully recently released a massive patch that removes respawn restrictions, fixes the loot system, and improves the overall stability of the game.

A new patch is out now that updates Anthem to version 1.0.3, and it includes fixes for some of the new loot-shooter’s more irritating problems. The marquee changes included in the patch are the removal of respawn restrictions and an updated endgame loot system. From now on, you’ll have respawn timers that correlate to the type of activity you’re playing, so on critical-path, agent, and other non-endgame missions, you’ll have to wait 10 seconds to respawn. During endgame missions like Strongholds and legendary contracts, that increases to 30 seconds.

The first major change is the removal of respawn restrictions - that often leave us in a pinch if no other players are able to revive us in a given area. The patch is adding respawn timers to all missions and now bases the timers on the activity a player is in. Come to mmocs.com now, you can buy Anthem Power Leveling with fast delivery and 100% safety.

The newest update for Anthem also makes several quality of life fixes, including solutions for the PS4 crashing issues that had plagued console users and some latent audio bugs that needed a solution as well. We're almost a month into the game's launch cycle, though, and it feels like we're just starting to get something vaguely resembling a full game now. While that's good news for those who want Anthem to ultimately succeed, it raises questions about the way game's are being released now, especially since this one in particular charged players extra to give them early access to a game that clearly needed more time.

The patch will also include a buff to Masterwork weapons to compensate for higher difficulty levels, which is a plus. Other changes coming with the patch include: the reintroduction of random and quickplay Strongholds; the ability to prime Titans; Mark of Ruin will act properly; respawn timers are now 30 seconds and restrictions have been reduced.

There are a slew of other bug fixes and improvements featured in this patch. Among them are the ability to Quickplay into a Stronghold, mission endings showing up at proper times, and the ability to launch an expedition from anywhere within the launch bay and Fort Tarsis. Players will also find a round of balance tweaks for Javelins and certain Masterwork Weapons, damage scaling on secondary damage sources, and a slew of other bug fixes.
