Iggy Pop - New Values (1979.)
New Values je treći studijski album Iggyja Popa i njegov prvi album izdat nakon The Stooges ' Funhousea i post-Stooges Kill Cityja. Na ploči nema nikakvog angažmana od Davida Bowieja . Izdana je u travnju 1979. godine od izdavačke kuće Arista .
Kritičari su dobro primili nove vrijednosti . Pišući u NME- u u vrijeme objavljivanja albuma, Paul Morley je napisao da New Values "konačno potvrđuje Osterberg kao mislioca i Iggyja kao izvođača, a odnos je pozitivan i ponosan." [7]
Charlotte Robinson iz PopMattersa napisao je da je album "delikatan balansirajući čin žilavosti s tendencijom, pobunom sa zadovoljstvom, iskrenošću s humorom, samouvjerenim zavijanjem s nijansiranim baladiranjem ... čini album pobjednikom". [8]
