Osmi studijski album Alice Cooper , objavljen u ožujku 1975. To je Alice Cooper je prvi solo album (sve prethodne Alice Cooper javnost su bend napore), i njegov jedini album za Atlantic Records etiketi. Turneja uslijedila je bio jedan od najvažnijih over-the-top izleta iz tog doba. Većina Lou Reed je bend pridružio Cooper za ovaj zapis.
To je konceptualni album ; pjesme, čuo u nizu, čine putovanje kroz noćne more djeteta po imenu Steven . To je nadahnuo Alice Cooper: The Nightmare TV poseban i svjetska turneja 1975. godine, i dobrodošli na moju noćna mora koncertnog filma u 1976. nastavak, Dobrodošli 2 My Nightmare je objavljen 2011. godine.
Poklopac umjetnička djela stvorena od strane Drew Struzan za Pacific oči i uši . Rolling Stone će kasnije to rang devedeseti na listi „Top 100 albuma svih vremena”. [1] prerađene CD verzija dodaje tri alternativne verzije bonus pjesme. Glasoviti filmski glumac horor žanra Vincent Price pod uvjetom da je uvodni monolog u pjesmi „Crna udovica”. Originalna verzija „Escape”, imale su holivudske zvijezde za svoje police 1974. album „Shine kao radio”, koji je konačno objavljen u 2013. [2] [3]
