Dok ovo pišem, piše da će u Liverpoolu kiša prestati za 30 minuta, a u Havani je sunčano. U tim gradovima postoje dvije posebne klupe, i na koju god poželim sjesti ovog kišnog osmog prosinca, neću pokisnuti i neću biti sama.
Zamišljam: na jednoj sam s ELEANOR RIGBY *, a na drugoj uz JOHNA LENNONA *…
I pričam, kako je Yoko Ono (81) i ovog prosinca, na njoj svojstven način, odala počast svom suprugu i našem prijatelju, koji nas je napustio na današnji dan prije 34 godine.

This statue was sculpted and donated to the City of Liverpool
by Tommy Steele as a tribute to the Beatles.

John Lennon Park or Parque John Lennon (formerly known as Parque Menocal) is a public park, located in theVedado district in Havana, Cuba.
On one of the benches of the park, nearer the corner of streets 17th and 6th, there is a sculpture of the former Beatlesmember John Lennon, sculpted by Cuban artist José Villa Soberón, seated on the bench's right end. On a marble tile at the foot of the bench there is an inscription reading: "Dirás que soy un sońador pero no soy el único" John Lennon, which is a Spanish translation of the English lyrics, "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one," from the song "Imagine".
