1. Venice is not a big city so you can enjoy it's beauty on foot! You can visit the major attractions in a few hours!

3. Prices in Venice are high but not as high as many claim and exaggerate! You can buy souvenirs in special offers for example 10 magnets for 10 euros, or 12 postcards for 2 euros! If you want to buy souvenirs try to look them in streets away from St. Mark's Square and the Rialto bridge! Be aware of adverse courses in exchange offices near significant monuments!
4. If you visit Venice in time of a carnival you will enjoy a unique experience that in Europe can only be experienced in Venice!
5. Many restaurants and cafes in the city do not have a toilet, while the prices in public toilets are quite high (1.50 euro)!
6. Public transportation in Venice is by boat! Best solution is the public transportation by Vaporetto boats. One ride for 90 minutes costs 7 euros. Gondola rides are quite expensive, the prices go from 50 to 80 euros!
7. If you walk around the city buy a tourist map for easy reference especially if you want to cross over the canal Grande over the four mane bridges that are quite distant from one another!
8. Be free to lose yourself in many Venetian streets with narrow channels and beautiful small bridges. You will be delighted with squares, small churches and colorful buildings!
9. Do not miss on seeing ‘’less’’ known sights in Venice like the Arsenal, Santi Giovanni e Paolo church, San Simeone Piccolo church...!
10. Finally just enjoy Venice, the city of colors, canals, bridges, lagoons and architecture that is in many ways unique in the world. Do not forget that the Venetians once had their own Republic and that they are a special kind of people who are primarily very kind!
