Sean Reinert is one of my all time drumming heroes. Not (only) for his impeccable technique, but primarily for his sense to come up with perfect drum parts and patterns for incredibly complex, and very often beautiful music of the bands he's been involved with.
Sean is the drummer in Cynic, one of my favourite bands.
In this video, Reinert is playing drums on one of the great songs from Cynic's second album "Traced in Air".
The song is titled "Evolutionary Sleeper". My hero!
