Sally Field and Joseph Gordon-Levitt must be method actors. The stars play mother and son in best picture nominee "Lincoln" (depicting Mary Todd Lincoln and Robert Todd Lincoln), and they've transferred that dynamic to real life. Speaking on the red carpet, the duo revealed that not only had Field invited Gordon-Levitt to be her Oscars date, she'd helped him out with his bow tie in the limo — the duty of all good moms when their sons have to dress up for an important event.
