The Beautiful Blossoms Of Hawaii

Today I wish to share with you some of my personal favorite kinds of exotic blossoms that live here in Hawaii. You may well understand, Hawaii is a exotic island that almost never suffers from the snows of wintertime. In reality the temperature rarely falls under 65 degrees. Also, Hawaii posseses an abundance of rain and sunshine, rendering it the perfect environment for plants to live. This ideal environment permits a lot of attractive kinds of blooms to flourish here.

The first of my personal favorite blooms are anthurium flowers. The anthurium had been delivered here more than a hundred years back from South America. It generates a beautiful flower in several colors. I have noticed colors from red all the way to purple. Quite often, it is in the shape of a heart, although a few kinds may be shaped like a tulip. A majority of the varieties are unscented, but several of the tulip varieties smell great.

Heliconias are some of the most unique looking blooms on the planet. You can just picture just how these types of flowers look, when one of the types was nicknamed, lobster-claws. They are often found in South America and near Indonesia. However they also seem to enjoy growing in Hawaii dendrobium. They generally make red, yellow or orange flowers in peculiar configurations.

The Hibiscus plant thrives all over the world, including in Hawaii. In fact, Hawaii has made the yellow Hibiscus its state blossom phalaenopsis. Out of all of the flowers that I am describing today, the Hibiscus is the flower with the most conventional shape. Yet that does not suggest that it isn't a gorgeous flower. It comes in many colors, such as red, yellow, pink and white.

Lastly, the orchid is another of those blossoms that appears to grow all over the place. Nevertheless they certainly love it here as well. Alongside the heliconia, they're just about the most unique looking blooms. I enjoy how they seem almost carnivorous, like they could gobble up a bee that's trying to pollinate it. As far as I know, there exists only one edible orchid, the vanilla orchid. And this is raised on Hawaii too.
