Diatomaceous Earth For Pool Filter
A soft, crumbly, porous sedimentary deposit formed from the fossil remains of diatoms
Diatomaceous earth also known as diatomite or kieselgur, is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder. It has a particle size ranging from less than 1
micron to more than 1 millimeter, but typically 10 to 200
microns.
a light soil consisting of siliceous diatom remains and often used as a filtering material
Fossilized deposits of diatoms; used for abrasives, polishes and as a filtering agent.
(POOL FILTERS) May filter dirt from the water at the cartridge surface or allow penetration of smaller suspended particles into internal interstices.
Dead Cockroach Walking
Diatomaceous Earth will cut into the exoskeleton. The cockroach doesn't need to ingest it, contact is adequate. This is a mechanical action instead of a poisoning, there is no possibility of a resistance developing. As an added bonus, diatomaceous earth doesn't have a lot of risks for us.
