Reusable Furnace Filters
- (Furnace Filter) A filter is a pleated or other type of device used to remove dust and other particles from air to protect the HVAC equipment. Filters vary how well they work and it is measured as MERV rating.

The Learning Curve
Two of the four renters were still in the house when we started cleaning. We noticed they were using window air conditioning units and when we asked them why they said the central air didn't work well. If they would have told us we would have fixed it. The first thing we did was check the filters. Jerry showed me they were clean....BUT BUT BUT what we didn't know was there was filters behind the filters. Our awesome furnace expert said they had probably NEVER been cleaned...The lint was as thick as a blanket. What is really bad is four years ago we had a new furnace put in (our expert was out of town) and all we really needed was to have the filters cleaned...Yikes some lessons are expensive.
FURNACE FILTER FROM HELL.
lazy lazy lazy.......this is why furnaces/AC units shit the bed in the middle of the night!!! it take 5 mins to change the damn thing and will keep your heat/AC bill low.
