Jacuzzi!

Jacuzzi!

We really enjoyed using this every evening ... after a long hard day by the pool, and before going in for showers and a pre-dinner cocktail (or two!) ...

Over where the man was cleaning the windows were two jacuzzis ... the one on the right was very cold, the other one was very warm. The big whirlpool in the middle was normal temperature. Just this side of it, divided by the little wall, was an ice cold plunge pool!

It took me a few days to build up the courage to try it ... but once I did, it was wonderful. The idea was to take a cold plunge first ... after which the middle pool felt wonderfully warm. Then a nice soak in the hot tub, often followed by another dip in the middle pool. Then to finish off, a short steam in the steam room behind. It was so much fun seeing the look on people's faces when we plunged in to the ice pool ... and when newcomers realized just how cold it was!

In the room next to this there was a fully equipped gym ... but we never quite got that far. You could also book massages and various mud treatments, but they were expensive compared to the massages you could get on the beach.
