What I've been up to
I love this, a friend mentioned he was going to have to buy an enternity ring for his wife next year as it is their 25th wedding anniversary, and I thought 'I can do that!' So I have, this is in silver with tanzanite and tourmaline, I am test driving it before even thinking about doing it in gold with diamonds, I want to make sure my settings are 100% secure. 9ct gold is much harder than silver so will be very difficult to rub over the stones so I must be very careful when making the seat. I'd rather think about doing it in 18ct, but the cost of that puts it way out of reach for a while.

I was commissioned to make this bracelet and pendant set by my mother, as a present from my dad. She had quite definite ideas on what she wanted, too. None of that gold-plated stuff for her, she wanted gold, 9ct gold! I have to give my dad credit though, he didn't cry too much when I told him the price!
