Canon SD900 & SD950-IS

Besides the 12.1 MP vs. 10.0 MP and "IS" vs. "non-IS," the SD950-IS has a few noteworthy upgrades.
The SD900 lens is a 3X zoom, going from 37-111 mm (equivalent), and the SD950-IS lens is a 3.7X zoom, going from 36-133 mm (equivalent). The SD950-IS sensor is about 10% bigger to accomodate the additional 2.1 million pixels.
Everyone will appreciate that the Canon SD950-IS has finally added a battery meter to the display full time as well as aperture and shutter speeds displays that show as soon as the focus locks for all images. The SD900 only shows a battery warning when you have about 10-15 shots left and it only shows the shutter speed when it thinks you need a low shutter speed warning.
The only step backwards that I can see is that the Playback function has been assigned to a button instead of being placed on the mode dial. It is more convenient this way, but I like to put my camera away with the mode dial set to
"Playback" so that the lens won't try to extend from the body if the camera is turned on accidentally.
Canon S95, G12 and 450D

The S95 has the DC58B filter adaptor (with B+W Pol Circular MRC 58mm) attached.
This was originally designed for the G12, but with some slight modifications it fits the S95, too. This combination is especially great for alpine skiing trips.
