Spring time makes me think of Spring Cleaning! With sports and Girl Scouts starting up in Spring we get pretty busy and our housework and chores start to suffer. I created a “daily duties” to help keep my daughter on track with her chores and daily hygiene needs and to help keep the hubby and I on track for the house cleaning that needs to be done each week.

I painted and then decorated on 8x10 Clipboard Wood Cover. I chose to use Clipboard Wood instead of chipboard because I wanted the chart to be really durable since it was going to be handled every day.

I created some “Daily Duties” sheets on the computer, printed them, and bound them to one side of the chore chart. I attached a coordinating ribbon to the top for hanging using the Crop A Dile to punch through the clipboard wood. I created a loop of ribbon on the side to hold a pen for checking off the duties. When the week is done, the sheet is torn off to reveal a new sheet for a new week. To make the pen holder, fold over a loop of ribbon and secure to the back of the Clipboard Wood. Adhere a small scrap of paper over top of the ribbon to hold it securely.
