Simplicity and minimalism are highly underrated. There was no good reason for me to have this sitting around cluttering up my hard drive and bookshelf. So, I sold it. Much rather have a few dollars in my pocket than this thing, which I played maybe three times and never liked.
I hate clutter. I hate having useless things that take up valuable space. Thoreau's ideas are very liberating, once you try them out, but it's difficult in this culture, where a stuffed refrigerator is viewed as a mark of success.
Honestly, how much extra money and time do you spend storing or transporting things you never use? Does it really make you happy?
