I went out today armed with nothing digital at all no batteries nothing of the sort.
I like film when it works lol.
The camera was a Fujica 35ee and I used a leningrad 4 lightmeter as the fujica camera one was flickering and unreliable.
Its a good camera I reckon.
F1.9 and up to 1/1000 sec shutter. The lens is sharp anyway, no batteries required.

Good and more importantly very cheap lightmeter too if you just use it for various outdoor scenes and dont use it for low light subjects.
The quality of film lets this down, its the one you get as replacement when you hand in one to be developed at jessops
I bodged the lightmeter up after spending ages calibratng the thing with my eos 550d by inadvertently setting it to asa 100 at some point instead of 200 so they all came out a bit overexposed .
Sigh!
The perils of film!
A lot of the time it would fall between 2 shutter speeds so I picked the slower one.
Ill post more pics later.
If you make a wrong setting theres nothing to tell you. and you cant tell till you get your film back.
I should really have looked at the asa setting but I was having too much fun pointing the light meter at various scenes and dialling things around.
ASA 200 film. cheap type you can tell.
It looks like about asa 1600 on a digital camera.
The other problem with film is its expensive to get photos developed.
. Im keeping my film cameras though.
