Installing Oak Floors

Installing the U channel for the saddle to sit on later
We cut the "U" channel with a hacksaw and screwed it to the floor. There are two grooves on the saddle that will straddle both floors and the saddle sits on this U channel. Sawdust everywhere.
Wood floor
I've been installing a hardwood floor for a friend the last 3 days. Its white oak, very nice, but the longest pieces are 36 inches long
