Wax Floor Polish
- A temporary coating that enhances the appearance and protects the substrate to which it is applied. Also called Floor Finish, Floor Wax.
- A white translucent material obtained by bleaching and purifying this substance and used for such purposes as making candles, modeling, and as a basis of polishes

2008-10-24- Refinishing the Floors - 0014
We spent Thursday and Friday refinishing (waxing? sealing? polishing?) our concrete floors. While we did Ozzy's half of the house, we put him in a cage so he wouldn't walk on the freshly mopped floors or floor finishing compound. Well, he was hissing like a mofo, and Jayne spent the whole day sitting at the office and living room (above) doors, trying to get a peak of the little kitteh monster. The floors are so SHINY, you can see her blocky little body reflected in them!
