Outdoor Rubber Floor Tiles
- (Floor tile) (1) Modular units used as finish flooring. Floor tile may be comprised of resilient (asphalt, vinyl, rubber, or cork), ceramic, or masonry materials. (2) Structural units used for floor or roof slab construction.

Example of vintage asbestos floor tile sales-sample representing Kentile-brand asphalt tile; showing front-side mottle-pattern "Random Tones" and partial view of carton container. The small tile sample measures 3-inches square and contains imprinted product-data labeling on its reverse-side indicating a manufacture date of April-1957. Interestingly, the tile's imprinted data nor its carton indicate "asbestos" content; however, subsequent testing identified chrysotile asbestos greater than 5%.
Damaged Asbestos 9x9 Floor Tile
