IGA Store, 43rd & N. Oak, 6 wm
The round corner, which was customer service area, for the grocery store, is part of the display floor, for "Pour Boys" convenience store and fuels.
I first saw this grocery store in fall 1994, and was newly working in the "Northland" area. I popped in here for lunch one day.
Later, it was my main grocery store, when I moved downtown from the Kansas side, as it is about the closest food store to downtown. I once rented a carpet shampoo machine here.
Several years ago it closed. After being empty for a long time, a developer cut openings in the long, west facing side, and placed an O'Reilly Auto Parts store, and several other retail storefronts.
The round corner and the shorter, south-facing side, are a brand new "Pour Boys" convenience mart, with gas pumps.
