It's an easy enough job but definitely a lot to think about.
For a starters, removing old flooring - have you ever scraped up glued-on carpet underlay? What a job....
Our carpet came in geological layers, and the bottom layer was some kind of "all in one" carpet with black rubber underlay which remained stubbornly stuck to the floor and had to be scraped up.
Last carpet removed
Paul and Mel pulled up the old carpet from the living room. This was the last bit of that glued commercial carpet. Good riddance.
