So I'm not sure I've mentioned this... but I'm going to be an aunt for the first time this spring. I recently finally got to put my hand on mama-to-be's tummy and feel a kick, so I'm pretty certain the little guy knows I'm going to be the greatest aunt he'll ever have ;)
My sister-in-law wanted some maternity photos and I have never had the opportunity to take any so I was thrilled when we started discussing ideas and planning a shoot. We spent an entire afternoon at their beautiful home just outside of town (with PHENOMENAL natural window light pouring into nearly every room) taking photos and trying out ideas and talking baby details. It was absolutely lovely. She's so beautiful and has the most adorable pregnancy tummy I've ever seen! I feel like it was a pretty successful shoot considering my lack of maternity photography experience, and something I would love to do more of.
Life is still insanely busy for me. I'm back in central Nebraska permanently, and in love with so many things and people right now I feel like I could burst. By spring my boyfriend will be living here and we'll be living in our very own house nestled in a sleepy little farming town.
Photography should pick up sometime around then also ;)
