Air Dryer Repair
- (Air-drying) Exposing meats and sausages to proper temperature and humidity conditions to change both flavor and texture for consumption or further processing. Times and temperatures will vary depending upon the type of meat or sausage.
- (AIR DRYING) Removal of moisture from materials (usually structural wood) using natural circulation rather than kiln drying.
- A compressed air dryer is a device for removing water vapor from compressed air. Compressed air dryers are commonly found in a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities.

Everybody knows this is the worst part of dryer repair--getting the hose and plug into the wall when you're done! Works fine now, though--lost the terrible squeak, haven't damaged any more clothes (yet?), and it seems to run a little faster. I ascribe the faster drying times to removing the obstructions from the air flow through the lint trap--more dry air means a faster cycle. Not fast, by any stretch--still an old, heavily used appliance, but I still didn't want to have to buy a new one.
Air Drying
These items were splattered by rain that entered through a defective HVAC unit. They were only superficially wet and were set out on clean paper, under a gentle air flow and repositioned twice each day to ensure even drying. Had the tape reel and cassettes been saturated, they would have been unwound for air drying (happily, they weren't). All items seen here were salvaged.
