Semi Automatic Airsoft Pistols
A semi-automatic firearm, or self-loading firearm is a firearm which, after being fired, ejects the empty round that has been fired, loads a new cartridge, and (usually) re-cocks itself.
A firearm designed to fire a single cartridge, eject the empty case and reload the chamber each time the trigger is pulled.
A type of action in which gas from the burning gunpowder in the shell automatically ejects the spent shell and loads another. Semi-automatics are known for minimal recoil.

Airsoft is primarily a recreational activity with replica firearms that shoot plastic BBs that are often used for personal collection, gaming (similar to paintball), or professional training purposes (military simulations, a.k.a. MilSim, and police training exercises).
Airsoft refers to a class of replica air powered guns that originated from Japan (although the origins go back to the US in the 70s). The power levels are way below those of traditional airguns, but the guns are 1:1 scale copies of original pistols, rather than original designs.

M110 7.62mm Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SASS)
The M110 7.62mm Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SASS) is an anti-personnel and light materiel weapon that fires 7.62mm ammunition out to a maximum effective range of 800 meters. It is also the first U.S. Army weapon system that integrates a quick attach/detach suppressor to reduce the weapon’s firing signature. The weapon system exceeds the rate of fire and lethality of the M24 Sniper Weapon System, the previous medium-caliber sniper rifle.
