This home is located in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. Prior to being included in NSP, it sat foreclosed and vandalized for months in an otherwise quiet suburban neighborhood.
The rehabilitation of NSP homes incorporate sustainable and water conserving features such as: recycled content ceramic tile flooring, insulated copper-pipe plumbing, ENERGY STARŪ rated appliances and lighting fixtures, dual-glazed windows, ultra low-flow toilets and faucets and a water conserving landscape with room for a small vegetable garden among other features. All NSP single family homes will also be solar panel ready.

New Power Panel
The new panel is finished mechanically. It's a huge improvement because you can now get to the fuses and the wiring from the side rather than working from the top, down to a depth of about 80cm - that was awkward, now is much easier. (The panel hinges outwards and down, leaving a large opening to allow access to the inside of the box.)
Nothing's wired up yet except the ammeter so I can keep an eye on the solar panel charge, but the lights and stuff are still connected inside.
And yes the meters are misaligned, my own fault I drilled one from the wrong side and got the measurement wrong. It works, that's more important
