EVOLVE - MAIN STAGE
This is the sunflower, or main stage at Evolve. When I'm working I try to stay on constant alert for photos. I make a conscious effort to clear my mind and live exclusively in the present. It's actually a lot more difficult then it sounds and distraction can easily creep in. In this case I was walking with my head down and thinking about a photo I just took. I suddenly realized I had slipped out of the moment so I stopped dead in my tracks and looked up; this picture was waiting for me. There was a mist in the air and I love how it highlighted the beams coming from the projectors at the top of the sound booth.
This photo was taken at the Evolve Music Festival, which takes place in Antoginish, Nova Scotia.

With each generation, each illness beat naturally, each seed planted, new information, good habits, transformation of soul and body, taking time to breath deeply, each past action mulled over, mentoring, a smile for all, respect, not judging, doing something for mother earth, thinking consciously, stopping the critic, some how some way we can evolve.
