Future Shop and Best Buy.
I've always found it amusing that these two "big box" electronics and computer stores which sell mostly the same stuff* and which are owned by the same company exist literally next door to each other on Merivale Road in Nepean. I guess both stores are profitable enough for Best Buy Canada to keep them open right where they are.
Also, one weird thing about the road in the middle, which T-junctions on Merivale Road between Family Brown and Viewmount, is that it doesn't appear to have an official name, even though it gets its own traffic lights on Merivale. It doesn't show up on either Yahoo Maps or Google Maps. I guess it just counts as a parking lot access road instead of an official road, but it does go all of the way back to Grant Carman Drive, just like Family Brown, which is also essentially just a parking lot access road yet that one has an official name.
* Though Best Buy also sells appliances, while Future Shop doesn't.
we found a store specializing in 220 volt appliances. it was weird.
the large man working there assumed that james was a photographer, and i was carrying his camera. of course!
