My family bought a treadmill a couple days ago. I went for my second run on it today and ran 4km. And the best part is, I didn't get a migraine afterwards! I'm hoping to get up to 10km by spring, and maybe do the Vancouver Sun Run. And no, I don't run in socks and jeans.
Note: I just checked on google maps how far 4km is. It's really not far. I'm out of shape.
I made some delicious spaghetti carbonara for dinner, but I got so wrapped up in the cooking process that I forgot to take a photo. It turned out quite well but the sauce could have been a bit creamier. I also used my Alessi Parmenide for the first time tonight and it works like a charm!
Best result
Today I felt particularly energized and wanted to go the longest time so far this year on the treadmill. I've been doing 30 minutes, but at a much slower pace, so I cranked it up a bit. Best result so far this year. I'm not sure when I will challenge myself that hard again.
I'm thinking about the class (teachers) I will be working with this afternoon. Of course they will have had a morning and an hours worth of teaching after lunch before I ge to their school. How energized might they be? I've assembled the workshop around using Web 2.0 writing tools and think that should be fun for them.
