i luv san diego for the spirit it embodies. lots of entities, some good some bad, make up that spirit. these 2 boys seen engaged in an old and very fast fading american ritual embody that spirit in grand fashion x10.
when I first saw these guys i walked right by them. they asked me if i wanted to buy any lemonade. i think i let out a long 'nahhhhhhh.....' without breaking stride and i kept right on going. to them i probrably appeared a little gruff and disgruntled about something. i would've agreed with them.
i walked a full block when it hit me, 'hey dummy, how often do you see a lemonade stand? go back and shoot those guys, fool!'
i did and they were great. i wasn't thirsty but i gave them two or three bucks for being a good sport. i hope those two guys are in good health and spirit, wherever they are.
