South Wales Nat Ex
By the time I took this picture of South Wales / De Cymru 126 in 1986, it was already on its third registration number and second fleetnumber. It was new in 1984 as National Welsh XC1259 (A259 VWO) but in failry short order became A126 WEP and a member of the South Wales fleet. Subsequently it gained the MKH 49A mark seen here. It passed to Brewers, Caereau, then in 1986 to Malahide Coaches where it was re-registered for the fourth time as 84 D 6965. the new millenum saw it at Fingal of Portrane and it was disposed of finally in 2003.
The coach was a Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/3R with Duple body.
What's with the upward pointing double-N under the driver's side window? "This side up", in case the coach overturns??!?
