RACING INFANT CAR SEAT : REUPHOLSTERY CAR SEATS : CAR SEAT GUIDELINES FOR CHILDREN
Racing Infant Car Seat
a seat in a car
Soup is the second album by the American rock band Blind Melon, released shortly before vocalist Shannon Hoon's fatal drug overdose, making it his final album with the band. Thematically, the album is much darker than the band's multi-platinum debut.
A car seat is the chair used in automobiles. Most car seats are made from cheap, but durable materials, made to withstand as much beating as possible. The material for these seats is usually used for the back of the seat, as well as the part where one's posterior goes.

Lots of action this weekend, although not all of it E.P. related. Friday while Dick and Sharon watched the Tyke, Mindi and Andre buzzed up to CarMax to buy a Honday Odyssey minivan. Yes, parenthood has us in its icy grip for real now! It's actually a lovely car -- loads of room, flexible seating arrangements, plenty of electronic gizmos to fiddle with (Andre), cup holders blossoming at every turn. The CarMax experience was very smooth, especially since we had visited their website beforehand and had narrowed down our choices to two Odysseys on their lot. They arranged everything including financing (although we are going to refinance at a better rate through our Credit Union today) so that we took possession of the car after only about 3 hours and drove it home.
Saturday was our usual Weight Watcher day, where the little guy was dandled within an inch of his life by Aunt Mommy Lori and Aunt Mommey Liz Joss, who were both present. The big project of the day for Andre was clearing some firewood and other junk out of the garage so that new van could fit where Laverne the Corolla used to park (Laverne now parks out front). Let's just say that using a leaf blower to get dirt, leaves, bits of trash and rat poop out of a somewhat enclosed garage space isn't very effective except for coating the operator of the leaf blower with same. The van now fits, although it's tight. Meanwhile the Boy and Mindi visited Babies R Us and got some big boy bibs and some other stuff. Later on, the youngster was passed around at Liz and Jim's impromptu party, and there was much commentary on how massive he is.
Sunday was Race Day, which the Doodle spent a good portion of in the care of Mammaw Sharon. The race itself was sadly delayed and then interrupted twice by bad weather, although after the first interruption Mindi, Dick, and Andre decided it would probably not be dry enough to finish that same day and left the track at about 2:00. We encountered little or no traffic resistance on the way back to the South Side to pick up the Bundle, who had been chatting and playing and eating like a good boy.
Monday we tried some REAL FOOD for the first time, and our dedicated little eater did quite well with pureed carrots (attached picture). He was still kinda hungry when we tried to give him some carrots, so although he was opening his mouth and he actually swallowed quite a few little spoonfuls, there was plenty of annoyed complaining in between bites. He also took a bona fide nap while Mindi and Andre pulled lots of stuff out of cabinets to add to our growing yard sale pile (we're hoping to join forces with Polly and have a joint yard sale). A trip with Mommy to Cost Plus World Market and the grocery store while self did a little bit of trim work on the upstairs bathroom before a LOVELY little cookout at Paul & Lori's featuring Italian bread salad, flank steak, bratwurst, grilled asparagus, a cheese/refried beans/sour cream baked dip and some watermelon. Silly parents forgot to bring a pacifier with them, so our young Charge was grumbling a little more than usual and finally insisted on leaving.
Throughout the weekend E.P. has continued his new pattern of waking once around 4:00 or so for a massive feeding and then going back to sleep until 7:00 or thereabouts. Mindi did have to coax him to sleep a little more after his feeding this morning, but he eventually went back down and she was able to nap a little.
