  • Soup is the second album by the American rock band Blind Melon, released shortly before vocalist Shannon Hoon's fatal drug overdose, making it his final album with the band. Thematically, the album is much darker than the band's multi-platinum debut.

  • A car seat is the chair used in automobiles. Most car seats are made from cheap, but durable materials, made to withstand as much beating as possible. The material for these seats is usually used for the back of the seat, as well as the part where one's posterior goes.

1970 - 1974 Bond Bug (01)

1970 - 1974 Bond Bug (01)

The Bond Bug was a small British two-seat, three-wheeled sports car of the 1970s. Following the purchase of Bond Cars Ltd, Reliant commissioned Tom Karen of Ogle Design to design a fun car. It was a wedge-shaped microcar, with a lift-up canopy and side screens instead of conventional doors.

The engine was the front-mounted 700 cc (later uprated to 750 cc) Reliant light-alloy four-cylinder unit which protruded into the passenger cabin. At launch 29 bhp (22 kW; 29 PS) was claimed for the less expensive 700 and 700E models. The more up-market 700ES had a power increase to 31 bhp (23 kW; 31 PS) as well as improved torque for the then range topping 700ES.

The car enjoyed an upbeat launch, at which Reliant's Ray Wiggin stated: "The fact it has three wheels is quite incidental. It's a new form of transport. So now, in fact, we think it's going to appeal to a much wider section of the market than we originally envisaged.

n contrast to the stereotypical image of three-wheeled Reliants as being ridiculously slow, the Bond Bug was capable of some 78 mph (126 km/h).

Tom Karen also oversaw the design and production of Luke Skywalker's landspeeder from Star Wars: one of the models was built upon the chassis of a Bond Bug - the wheels hidden by mirrors at 45° to the ground.

Mustang Sally?

Mustang Sally?

Nope! It's not Mustang Sally... it's my little girl wedged into the back of my Mustang GT.

Mom was worried that the after-market pipes would be too loud for her. She didn't seem to mind.

Even though a rear facing car seat fits in this 2+2, don't think for a minute it's practical. The front seat was up so far, a shotgun passenger would have to be 4'6" or shorter to tag along!

strobist info: Canon Speedlite 580EX II (manual at 1/8) camera right on rear window self - aimed at ceiling to soften.
